Nearly a year ago, a case of mistaken identity cost Jim Bowers part of his family. Bowers' wife and baby daughter died when a Peruvian jet shot down their plane because they thought it was carrying drugs. Bowers and his 7-year-old son Cory live in Garner. He has just written a book about his life as a missionary and he is using the Internet to tell the world about his mission.
