Included with the eSCL system is an e-mail bridge. This e-mail capability allows the
system to notify pagers, cell phones, PDAs, and standard e-mail clients. Bridges to
other technologies are easily built. The eSCL system allows extensions to the scripting
language to control 3rd party interfaces. The system can easily bridge out to JAVA or C/C++
interfaces.
