ICS is currently under contract
to modify the ROMPS software to control
a semiconductor wafer harvesting experiment on-board the Wake Shield Facility
III. This hardware and software for this mission are largely re-used from
the ROMPS mission. This will mark the 4th mission which will use this hardware
and software architecture. SCL has been used end-to-end on each of these
missions. (I&T, Control Center, & On-board controller). Wake Shield
Facility II is scheduled to launch in the shuttle in May of 1996. This
same architecture is expected to fly on Wake Shield Facility IV.
