Embedded Systems

FLIGHT

ICS specializes in developing embedded systems for  satellite controllers, payloads, intelligence systems, and industrial control systems.  Our broad experience started with the need to develop autonomous systems which allowed classified satellites to operate for a period of 180 days unattended. Currently, the FUSE Satellite has been in orbit since June of 1999 using the SCL product as the payload controller. 

TACTICAL

Our background in intelligence systems has also lead to the development of embedded applications for Software Defined Radios for Tactical Data links for the JCIT and JTRS programs.  (see the Spec. Sheet on the right)

COMMERCIAL

ICS was contracted to GE Transportation Systems to help develop the PinPoint Generation 1 and Generation 2 systems.  ICS personnel were instrumental in the design and development of this embedded locomotive location product.
